Alumni Exhibits makes scientific models to client’s specifications. The elephant seal is touchable, life size at 14’ long, made of foam, cement, and epoxy. Bridget Keimel assisted with all phases of fabrication of the seal.
Alumni Exhibits fabricated a naturalistic school of five Coho salmon to hang in front of the Orca model on display in the Bear Valley Visitor Center. The five salmon are all different sizes and in different postures to closely resemble a wild population scattering in front of the hungry Orca.
Also at the Bear Valley Visitor Center is an interactive tide pool exhibit and painted acrylic murals. Point Reyes Tide Pool and Beach Zone is 8′ X 24′ X 4′ In includes touchable tidepool rocks, marine invertebrate animals, seaweeds, water, and sandy beach are made out of FGR plaster, urethane, acrylic, polyester resin, and mixed media. Mural is acrylic on canvas.
